Comedy: John Crist

      What is comedy? Comedy is professional entertainment consisting of jokes and satirical sketches, intended to make the audience laugh. What is a comedian? A comedian is an entertainer whose act is designed to make the audience laugh. Have you ever heard of John Crist? You haven’t? Well, John Crist is a comedian and he has told jokes about the bad things about social media to telling jokes about different kinds of people and more.

John Crist is a guy that loves to make people laugh. He started out by making announcements at church and of course added a joke in here and there. The first time he had a big show was in 2009, and he still does many live shows today. He had seven siblings, they were all home schooled and grew up in the south.

     One of my favorite videos John Crist has made is “John Crist with Tim Hawkins: Kids with Cell Phones”. In this video he tells a jokes about how his dad would get annoyed with them being on their phones all the time. He would say they didn't know how hard it was back when they didn’t have cell phones. Kids and Comedy- Animals, Too!

Don’t you just love a little child’s crazy antics? What about animals? Do YOU find them as hilarious as I do? If so, then this is the video for you!

            As you probably noticed, a lot of the clips were of ferocious animals trying to attack the young kids. But some of the creatures were just acting out of interest in the child. Whatever the intentions of the animals, these clips make for good entertainment!

           Most of us love kids and their cute little mannerisms. We’re not the only ones, though. Here is a video that demonstrates everyone’s love for children:

Kids and Comedy - Jokes and other things...

So, we all know that the younger generation has a great grasp on technology.  We also know that some of the older generation is a bit slow on this topic.  This often can be helped with a patient young person who has the skill to text a paragraph to a friend in about seven seconds.  The older generation also doesn't seem to realize why we use slang such as dawg and sup when we can easily say man or how are you doing?

Anyway, I was watching some excerpts of the Jimmy Fallon show about his Instagram hashtag #MomTexts where kids send in funny texts their Moms sent.  One of the moms texted 'Aunt Mary died.  lol.  She thought lol meant 'lots of love.'  Lol actually means laugh out loud. This is a rather serious mistake if I do say so myself, but it is the thought that counts, right?  After he read this I about died laughing.  Not to be mean of course, but some of us have to create the laughs.

It seems that today the modern two-sided jokes have been replaced by one-sided puns.  I was searching for jokes to make people laugh and I ran across these.  I was about dying by the time I finished these so here you go.   

Feeling pretty proud of myself. The Sesame Street puzzle I bought said 3-5 years, but I finished it in 18 months.

My wife is so negative. I remembered the car seat, the stroller, AND the diaper bag. Yet all she can talk about is how I forgot the baby.

Adults are always asking little kids what they want to be when they grow up because they're looking for ideas.

I saw a sign that said "Watch for children" and I thought, "That sounds like a fair trade".

There's nothing like the joy on a kid's face when he first sees the PlayStation box containing the socks I got him for Christmas.

When you stop believing in Santa Claus is when you start getting clothes for Christmas!

My kids are very optimistic. Every glass they leave sitting around the house is at least half full.

Comedy- FUNNY THINGS!

                  

            You are probably reading this so you can SMILE. Are you the kind of person who smiles at children being cute? (As a guy I generally don’t call things cute but any woo) Or people being silly on purpose? Well today you’ll have a taste of both of these. Okay, now kids can make anyone smile. She was just trying to be nice to her dad. You don’t have to be a comedian  to make someone SMILE as that video just showed. Comedy – Tim Hawkins and Little Kids

     Hi there. Welcome to smile. Today, I am going to talk about something that always makes me smile, Tim Hawkins' videos. I will specifically be talking about his videos involving little kids. You may be wondering who Tim Hawkins is, so let me tell you a little about him. Tim is one of the funniest comedians ever! He often makes up parodies of popular songs, and writes his own songs too. In addition, children, parenting, homeschooling, church, and stories from his childhood are a few of the many things he talks about. He travels around the country and does stand-up comedy shows, has released multiple CD’s and DVD’s, and has countless videos all over youtube as well.

     Little kids are funny things, and with four children, boy does Mr. Hawkins have a lot of inspiration for material! The funniest things come out of the mouths of children. Like that time when his seven year old son wrote him a poem.

     What happened next? The little guy told his dad to make a song out of it… and play it in his show. Watch the video here to see what happened.

     Little kids also do hilarious things. These things sometimes don’t make much sense. Have you ever seen a little boy who likes a little girl? Ah, the classic pigtail pull or maybe even a baby lizard put in her desk. Watch Tim’s take on it here.
